Part II
The Core Proposals
The foundation of this proposal is simple and undeniable: there is an abundance of human energy on the planet—more than enough to provide the essential needs and wants of every person. What is missing is a global infrastructure to coordinate that energy in a way that is fair, voluntary, and satisfying.
The Global Resource Optimizer (GRO) is a proposed AI coordinated infrastructure designed to track, analyze, and coordinate these Human Energy Hours (HEH). Rather than using money as a medium of exchange, GRO calculates the number of hours needed to sustain and improve life across six key areas: food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, travel, and entertainment.
Every person earns credits by contributing HEH to the global commons. These hours are never lost or forfeited—they remain as an individual’s non-transferable, non-inheritable store of value. AI helps identify which tasks are most needed and matches individuals based on their preferences, skills, and capacities. No one is forced to do anything they cannot reasonably do. Every hour spent—regardless of the task—counts equally.
This system removes the inefficiencies and inequities of make-work jobs and economic coercion. Education is directed entirely toward preparing individuals to participate in meaningful contributions. Best practices and innovations are continuously discovered and shared through GRO, reducing the total hours needed for societal fulfillment and freeing more time for each person to live their ideal life.
Every contribution moves individuals toward retirement—a point at which they’ve completed their share and may continue to contribute voluntarily. Progress toward this retirement threshold is tracked in real time, empowering each person with a clear, shared sense of direction and achievement.
